Reviews: Tour de France by the Light Blues
Raymond Jones, "Classical Remarks" Daily Press, Newport News, VA June 15, 1986)

The MHS Review 382 Vol. 11, NO. 4 • 1987
Something blue arrives via Musical Heritage Society with a vocal group called The Light Blues on an album entitled Tour de France [see page 29]. Songs by Debussy, Poulenc, and Saint Saens are offered, including Debussy's ''Trois chansons de Charles d 'Orleans," the Poulenc "Chansons francaises," and Saint-Saens rarities like "Winter Serenade," "Flowers and Trees," and "The Sailors of Kennor." Unusual fare, sung with great finesse by The Light Blues, this recording originated on British Hyperion. I hope [Musical] Heritage will produce more recordings by this group at [its] mid-range price
