Herman Trotter, The Buffalo News (May 2, 1986)

This is an impeccable recital of heart-on-Âsleeve Elizabethan songs of love, lust, and languor, alternating between composers John Dowland and Thomas Campion. Partridge is one of the great tenors of the day and he is tastefully accompanied by LindÂberg's authentic lute.
