The ongoing MHS pipeline to Erato leads to yet another Alain Bach volume which first turned up four years ago as Erato 75064, the first digital Bach single featuring chorale preludes for the artist who, in 1982, was fresh from her second complete series.
Here, the location is Alain's favored Church of St. Donat, Drome, France with its 1970 Schwenkedel Organ. Given the authority of performance, recommendation of the MHS product is certain. Surfaces are quiet although mastering has been made slightly lower in level to the earlier Erato.
